What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are the currency used to power AI features in WriteCV. Each AI action costs a certain number of credits. For example, generating a full resume costs 10 credits, a cover letter costs 8 credits, and improving a single section costs 3 credits. You can check the credit cost before every action.
What counts as a credit usage?
Different actions cost different amounts: Full resume generation (10 credits), Cover letter generation (8 credits), Resume analysis/scanning (5 credits), Section improvement (3 credits), Summary generation (3 credits), Bullet point generation (2 credits), and Skill suggestions (2 credits).
Do credits expire?
No, your credits never expire. Whether you received them for free at signup or purchased a credit package, they remain in your account until you use them. Use them at your own pace.
Can I get a refund on purchased credits?
We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any of the purchased credits. Once credits have been consumed, we cannot issue a refund for the used portion. Please contact support@writecv.io for refund requests.
